Somehow I received a text from a number I had called anonymously using *67

So I called someone the other day and blocked my cell number using *67 .....and 2 days later I get a text from the same number including the *67 digits ...and the bottom said you cant reply to conversation. Isn't it impossible to text back a blocked number..
