Older versions of Android allowed no GPS location which did not suck my battery dry in a few hours. It took several hours.
Android 10 seems to have dropped this option, in favor of battery draining as quickly as possible.
I do not need accurate location on my camera box phones. I need battery life. But having a location variable within the block or half mile is good enough, so long as battery lasts as many days as without the location turned on.
The older Android had this option.
