Media sound only on one app

So recently if I listen to a book on libby, the sound for everything else stops working. Even when I turn it off. Even when I force close it. There is absolutely no media sound on anything except for Libby. The only way to fix this is to restart the phone but it's stupid that I have to do that every time. Does anybody know a fix for this?
